Analysis of "I Can't Let Go!"

"I Can't Let Go!"

The Truth
I’ve been looking for
is in your eye’s
and on your face
but somehow misses your lips?

The Lie
Is in your kisses
and you in my arm’s
and in your silence,
 your running away
and in your tears?

The Hope
Is in our journey
25 years
Where we choose to be,
Where we need to be,
You make me believe,
I just can’t let go!

About this poem

I have always fallen in love with my friends. Always wanted that to be the foundation of my love. A friend will love you forever. A friend will have secret passions hiding just beneath the surface and will keep them buried until they just can't be contained. And if you're lucky, or maybe unlucky enough to have two friends who feel the same; you have the makings for an explosion of love and passion that can take you through years of mental, emotional and spiritual pain called true love, regardless of the relationship you are able to maintain.
