As I sat flat on the field
Open were my men
Shield atop the ground
I did not shed my Sword from my side
Their eyes open
Gracious was their sight
I became blind with rage
Not because I did not stand in front
Phelinx did not fail
Nor could leadership prevail
It happens we understood
Made a decision for the good
Never in doubt were we
