Analysis of The Chain of Love

SALVADOR T. PELINGON 1981 (BAAO, CAMARINES SUR)

Two untie species,
Tied in a bundle of joy.
Two unwrap species,
Wrapped in a veil of vow.
Two untamed species,
Tamed in a church ceremony.

Two unknown families,
Knew each other very well.
Two not so allied families,
Are alliances in many ways.
Two ununited families,
Are in one accord to unity.

One plus one equals two,
Two that makes three or even four if you go.
Four in a while,
Until it becomes five.
Five to Half a dozen, .
Seven is not bad anyway..

This is how it start,
The story of me and you.
From a distant hi and hello,
Until it ponders and grows.
Now it's a community,
Chained in love so true.
