Analysis of Rotting in plain sight

Our founding fathers', lifeblood spent,
They forged this country in fire.
Unscrupulous rulers were foreseen,
The danger to US is now dire.

Unbalanced president, as Caesar of yore,
Dares to usurp more power...
Commanding citizens to bend,
All while delusional and sour.

Gaius Caligula would've smirked,
And Nero would've twiddled his lyre,
At all perversions that are dared,
While moral core is on fire.

Collude with enemies, take bribes,
Stifle dissent, and muzzle opposition,
He'd squander trillions, abandon, run,
And champion criminal dereliction.

Mini dictators creep like snakes,
In states, cities and towns,
These oligarchs issue mandates,
Constitution is trivial to depraved clowns.

Yes, docile citizens suit the needs,
Servile ones are most useful,
These geldings dwell their pointless lives,
And as steers, will not be fruitful.

So many lackeys bend over, spread,
And sycophants applaud with gusto,
Lips are attached to their master's ass,
Surrender-freedoms-mode is on auto.

Yet many claiming they'll resist,
Will acquiesce, no fight is in them,
Most grown fat, and gotten soft,
Lack will to oppose strongmen.

Into oblivion our rights slip,
As we allow them to be taken,
Forever lost, forgotten we had,
Once gone are forsaken.

If Washington or Franklin glanced,
Into this husk their country has rotted,
Oh they would curse today's elites,
True enemies of our Republic.

Americans we are by God ... and luck,
Treasure your vote, don't squander.
For if you do, for a handout buck,
All freedoms you will surrender.

My aim is not to foster fear,
Nor to instill dread, or panic.
My mission is simple, get you to see,
What is in plain sight, barely hiding.
