Analysis of Relief

Steven Bratti 1980 (Des moines iowa)

This hole was way bigger, reassuring it used to be. Now it has torn and is full of thorns and completely foreign to me. My life I lived in darkness, some of it on purpose, some of it got them charges. Anger was my friend, I had rage high as my helm. Yet no one can change the feeling of blame as I slipped inside the depths. All that I found here was despair and fear, but I kept them close. Shrouded myself in pain, and took on whomever came, but it never seemed to change  because insanity was in reigne. I shielded myself from the world and protected whomever might need it. I gave it everything I had and pushed my emptiness within, just to be by myself and completely alone again. My life's now changing and patients is what I'm told is needed. To work on myself and heal whatevers left, yet my sadness is forever deepening. The sounds of silence in my heart is starting to rip me apart, and all I need you to see. Is that I want to be loved for who I am, not for whom you want me to be.
