Analysis of The Bucket List

Of all the things in the world. Hell even the universe, it doesn’t make any sense.
They want to sky dive, some higher than others
Is if they were closer to the heavens, the stars, the cracks of all the existing spaces and times.
Some want to ride a bull, to test their strength, maintain their capabilities of power and might, to showcase how fortuitous they are physically.
I’ve even heard of some that want to deal with none, gathering information and constantly staying true to their own ways in wanting nothing but the knowledge they have gathered in hope it turns into wisdom, the grasp their idea of a higher power. Knowledge is power.
Mostly they want love. The feeling of what it actually is. Spending their time and life together, never batting an eye to another, and even sprouting smaller versions of themselves. To watch them grow, to watch them laugh, to watch them love, to teach them what to do when it needs to be done, the full circle is complete when they wrap their legacy strings together, and box up perfection of themselves for others to possibly see.
So many many ideas, or wants, or needs they look for to try to make their worth or substance before passing along on the line train from midnights never.

I couldn’t possibly understand what the hype is. Nothing is this world amounts to what’s after the during and now.
What’s worst is billions and billions will never know what the realest looks like, what pure beauty inside and out looks or feels like. Unbridled and unbroken power at its absolute best. The will of what it means to be THE.

I don’t have a bucket list, and honestly I don’t need one. I hardly had a soul until you gave me one.
Feeling was just a sense to me, until I touched THE one. Happiness was what many thought they knew, but they never heard you crack a couple of good ones.

See I don’t have a bucket list because I don’t deserve one.
I ran out of ink and time and only one time I actually tried to live my life for right.
Over conflicts from the past and inner slavery of myself, I didn’t want to fix anything. The manifestation of nil growth led to my hands being weak, my knees broken and my mind deceased.

I could have had a bucket list, but when everything I wanted in life came to me through a series of unfathomable events, I was scared and ran from what it truly meant to be to walk amongst the Gods.
The thing about it, is that there is only one for my eyes and she is a goddess, and she is what my bucket list was.
The worst part about it is all, for a time I was the only thing she really saw.

About this poem

This poem is about love lost and found. Taking for granted, what shouldn’t have been. Knowing love lost.
