Analysis of Apples Falling

I had asked the sky beyond the clouds
To never take away this moment-
My creative spirit has been longing for release-
Sweet apples are falling from the sky,
Falling and falling until they hit the ground-
Shattering into trillions of pieces.

In this moment, my anger is spiraling out of control-
I try to capture this blessed moment-
Apples, being the fruit of immortality,
My vital release from fear.

I sit upon my rocking chair peering through a crack in the wall-
Rhythmically I swing back and forth,
Then forward once again.
Magical moments… such strange but precious fruits-
Falling with the rain.

I scream- “Do not snatch away this moment”- I pray.
This moment could just vanish in the wind-
I weep tears as would a silent waterfall,
So fearful of losing this magical moment-
This moment of freedom from fear.
I am the only person alive on this planet.

I capture a lone apple- this last one that falls from the sky.
I make a wish as I would wish upon a star.
I recall bittersweet moments when the lights went out-
Now everything is mystical. The sky is barren now.
I see apples in pieces like shattered glass upon the pavement.
I hear angels screaming- is this truly what life is all about?

My arms reach upwards towards the sky at dusk.
I am immortal touched by the moon in hiding-
Such a miracle- outer space, the stars, the sun, the planets?

When the sun rises, I shall be set free
And no one can rob me of that freedom.
Life is amazing when moments are misunderstood-
Life is beautiful because of what we do not,
Or shall never understand….
