Analysis of These words have magic

Vincent Parker 1948 (South Ozone Park, NY)

Is that your daughter's lot in life. Tonya?

A bullet out of nowhere, that left her in a chair.

Would she...for that matter wouldn't anyone

be overcome with misery and despair!

Nay, not Kai Leigh...She's the world's own little girl

with a smile that melts your heart and eyes which

penetrate ones mind...oh and her hair as she sits

with determination in that chair...with tears, trapped from the

flow...instead her heart spills with the words that glow.
               "I forgive you"

From the pain, came magic ...her incantation to resonate

around the globe...smash barriers...inflict healing to inject and

inflict LOVE!               Oh my God, my hero you did it!

How can I ever repay you?, as I've heard it countless

times recited in the lords prayer...yet my dear

You are truly the Heir!

About this poem

Some FB friends was talking or writing about forgiveness in a comment and I thought of a poem I wrote for a little girl in a wheelchair. She was hit by a stray bullet in Massacussetts and she was in court where she boldly declared to the perpetrator of the gun that left her paralyzed. "I forgive you." I read about her in People magazine and her name is Kai Leigh and her Mother, Tonya.
