Analysis of 10 TOES DOWN

JaQuiondia Banks 1990 (MILWAUKEE, WI)

10 Toes Down
I have been knocked down 9 times, but I stand 10 toes down
Each blow I have been hit, and I have hit the ground
Each time I have got back up, to be knocked back down again
To be a quitter has never been in my plan
I get back up and start over again
The route I took may be a different course
I do not change pace, I change the source
There will be bumps and bruises along the way
I do not get discourage, they will not stay
They may hurt, they may burn
But I’m a soldier, I will remain firm
To reach the top, is all I want
Being at the bottom, sucks, I cannot front
I will wait patiently, and wait my turn
My goals and dreams, I will not allow them to burn
