Analysis of My Husbands Poem!
Crystal Ford-Nelson 1982
You are a part of me!
As I am of you!
Rather the day is light or past nine.
Previous events have allowed our bases(s) to shine.
Which bind us as one, no room for other(s) or things to push through.
My hope; in due course you find these words!
For a spell of your own!
I can see, hear a smile, those....
Damn dimples taking up space!
How you say?
On my handsome husbands face!
Because we where miles apart.
Quietly, diligently we became friends with a start.
So you ponder/wonder of two separate elements.
The process began while you fought sleep & a blasted laptop.
Just as those brown often hazel, head turning eyes, then did I turn to pen and paper.
Now read carefully a meaningful poem surfaced roughly one or two hours later.

About this poem
This poem was written for my husband as a starter beginning August.14, 2021 with the finishing touches on August.15, 2021 to boot. Was I nervous? Yes but it was worth it. He is an absolute part of my life. This means to me as he does. Because (to my recall) haven't written a poem for anyone before. To say the least he did cry! The best summary would be a description of the man I love, look forward to sharing many more years with. Do not get it messed up-we may or may not have words. While each of us is aware we go through & deal as a unit. As each others calm and peace. more »
