Analysis of Phenomenon

The brightest star shining,
The colors splashed across the sky.
Pink to red,
Red to orange,
Fades into the blue.
Only for the blue to fade away,
And darkness to slowly take its place.
The moon rises in the east.

What a beautiful phenomenon.
