Analysis of Rainy Day
The weather forecast said it’d be cloudy, and I’m not a fan of the rain,
I decide that night to avoid it but end up sleeping too late.
It turned out the entire day was sunny. Not a cloud or drop in the sky.
I made the mistake of listening to others and letting myself believe in a lie.
The possibilities are endless. It can rain, it can snow, it can be sunshine.
But judging by the unknowns in the universe, I base my decisions on lies.
I could make the choice to wake up and take the risk of the rain.
Who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky, and the day could turn out great.
Even if it does indeed rain, it is fine, because I woke up knowing I tried.
Swapping from listening with negative intentions,
And making pre-determined choices on negative voices,
To taking action on my own positive intuitions,
And being happy just knowing I’m alive.
