Analysis of Rough

Oceans crackling the sand,
fire burning man.
Lightning striking the earth,
a woman with birth.
Wars that never end,
Days that never been.
Pain in yourself,
but in nobody else.
The cries I feel my fright.
Pollution rises every day, with mile
of smoke returning continuously.
Seeing people suffering and crying.
Dreams that are built up in your sleep,
never coming out of you.
Earth crushing over you,
babies in mothers birth.
Water that spoil, the need for oil.
Hell taking over man, as the wind
flows in a can.
Spirits that never leave, people who never believe.
Crushing moon that falls into the earth.
Years that seem like days, changing your love ways.
A family that saw a bird fly, but when the family awakens
the bird will die.
The earth crushing itself, man killing every body else.

Dr. T. Pinnock

Dr. Pinnock first wrote poetry in the institution he resided in inside a classroom at 8 years old. The typewriter was old and manual with a keyguard. A keyguard is a device with an opening for each key to prevent a person lacking fine motor skills from accidentally hitting a key. Dr. Pinnock was granted permission to use the class alone. He labored there typing for hours ignoring his cerebral palsy. Dr. Pinnock grew up with his family until August of 1970. Poverty forced his parents to make him a ward of the State of Connecticut. more…
