Analysis of Education of the Soul
Education of the Soul
The heart soars and sighs
The mind believes and denies
The body crawls, walks and runs
The legs falters & the wind stings
And then rain comes.
The brain ponders
What have we done?
The eyes tear, the face wrinkles
Every breath and every mouthful
of food starts another one
The skin dries and the hair fades
And the hands shake with
Anticipation of it all, blood races
Heart pounds, ears wonder
Did we miss the sound?
Of ocean waves as the fall?
Heart soars, lungs sigh
Mind believes as eyes deny
Yet the soul grows
For the soul knows!
