Analysis of Emergence
I ponder miracles gazing at cloud’s cottony fluff.
Thy grace suffices. More than enough!
Snares of the Devil Himself I boldly rebuff!
Hark! We hear Thee speak off-the-cuff!
Out! Out! A wicked egotistical raging fire we snuff!
Saving scraps of virtue! Gone any slough!
Vaporize my ordeals in a smoky puff!
Fortify my inner castle! Render it ‘up to snuff’!
Grant a countenance serene not gruff.
Polish this vessel! Remove every scuff.
Empower and transform us. Make us tough!
When waves tumble, crest, and turn rough.
Let these petitions echo beyond furthest bluff!
Compose in us an Opus of awesome stuff!
