Analysis of When I was, Then I was.
Insanity, the alluring word.
It is a beautiful word.
And I don't even know why.
I have always wondered what was worse.
To be sane?
To be insane?
I was born into the world from nothing,
I walk this earth today wondering if I really mean anything at all.
As they say,
No great mind has ever existed without a touch of madness.
What does it mean to be insane?
To be crazy?
To be mad?
To be out of your mind?
I have never noticed a hindrance to it,
I have only noticed a hindrance to sanity.
Stupidity,
Obliviousness,
Dependence,
Limitation.
If I were to walk upon a diving board,
What would stop me from doing whatever I wanted that didn't kill me?
I look upon the water from the great height,
Any courage I possessed fades into nothing.
Was it sanity?
I have stood upon the ground wanting to fly,
Flip and turn and move all around any way I wanted.
But what was stopping me?
I have walked this earth wanted to know what love was,
But always ever so hesitant to do so.
Was it sanity?
Is there love?
Is the courage?
Is there happiness?
With fear?
With intelligence?
With sanity?
What utopia?
state of euphoria would I be accompanied by?
Without fear?
Without intelligence?
Without sanity?
Morality is but an option.
Evil is but an option.
What is forced upon me?
While I am sane?
What was I born to accomplish?
While I am sane?
What was I raised to be?
While I am sane?
What did everyone around me show me?
While I was sane?
What had I pushed myself to become?
While I was sane?
What had I done?
When I was sane?
Where will I go?
Who will I love?
What will I do?
Why will I do it?
How will I do it?
Chaos surrounds me.
Order surrounds me.
But which one pushes me forward?
When you are sane?
Which one pushes the ones I love forward?
When You are sane?
Which one pushes the places I am present forward?
When you were sane?
Which one pushes the things I do forward?
Back when you were sane?
Which one pushes you forward?
When you were once, sane?
