Look at your sister!
She wakes up on time,
Studies on time,
Heads to school on time,
The perfect kid of time.

I looked at her and pondered,
I am not like her.
Do I want to be her copy?

Look at Tom!
He is the school topper.
The pet at school and home.

I am not Tom.
Do I want to be his copy?

Look at other kids
They labour and earn money.
You are still studying,
You don’t have a car,
A house to live in,
And money to spend on us.

Do I want to be them?

I thought I was unique,
A masterpiece
But I don’t have a fan.
They are all a fan of my
Sister, friend and mates.

The real me wakes up late,
Is not a Ms Perfect,
I don’t sugar-coat,
I am not here to please,
I am a thinker and innovator.

I want to be different.
I do not want to be my sister,
I do not want to be Tom,
And I do not want to be them.

They are different and unique,
So am I.
I am not what you want me to be
I am the version of me,
The only masterpiece and edition.
