Analysis of Instructed Destruction
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
What has been,
A successful elimination...
Gone from re-written history books,
Not to acknowledge or mention.
Is the advancing progress,
Black Americans have contributed.
To the United States.
Nearly erased and replaced.
By depicting an emancipation that freed,
Subservient slaves made to pick cotton.
Begging for their freedom to be released,
From plantations by those who oppressed.
Yet had hearts tormented with guilt.
And like Pharaohs,
As if on golden thrones to sit.
Had visions from God listening to Moses,
Pleading...
'God please have the Pharaohs,
Let my oppressed people go!'
Although in reality,
Without it to highlight to spotlight the facts.
If it had not been,
For Native American Indians.
And those of African descent.
Today's racists instructed to destruct,
Would not have survived,
On delusions to fiction to bring them luck.
Yet...
Twisted beliefs worshipped to idolize.
Has many who are white and self righteous,
Teaching standards to value that criticize...
Black folks as being ignorant.
And fed are stereotypes,
Young blacks and whites alike...
Do their best to imitate.
With a doing the best they can,
To discriminate an appreciation...
Taught to teach their children to learn,
Various ways to disrespect each other.
Appeasing to please,
Those who pocket lots of bucks.
Not caring whose minds,
Have been messed up.
Just for that dollar to exchange,
At the marketplace!
And reality and the truth of it,
Does not feed a society...
Democratically based to originate,
On capitalism and greed!
Taxing the poor more while the elite feast!
