Analysis of Fortitude

Fortitude
06/01/21
By Aaron Nankin

Fortunes come, then they go
Outsides shift, insides glow
Rogue Tectonics, cut and slice; rifts and strife, blades sharp as knife
Territorialism, aggression, schisms; a rearranging and cunning prison
Inside the mechanics grind and clank, a war of invisible guns and tanks
Trusting the machine can withstand the evolution, or it’s operating system can transcend dissolution
Ultimately, it's part of the journey of becoming, whether we have arrived or whether we are running
Decisions made in the now: I know it is stunning; gravity of past and future, forever is gunning
East to West the sun travels, a delicate string pulls along, we must do as the sun does.  We must travel; we must travel on
