Analysis of Glow

Samuel B. Duff 1981 (Michigan)

I just got off of the phone with you
What a lovely conversation
I don't want anything to
Wash away this sensation
Basking in a pool of light
Replay your silver laugh
I know you'll fill my dreams tonight
I'm glad that your my friend
Let all of my words be honest
Let my feelings just be true
She closed with "I love you, my dear,
I hope that we can talk more soon."
I lay back and closed my eyes
after I'd set the phone down
I want to hold on as long as I can
To the way that I feel right now
