Analysis of My way back.

Michael A. Watkins. 1965 (san diego)

The way back is hard
but not impossible to find,
a past filled with bad memories
I choose to leave behind,
defined by those mistakes-
all I need is a chance to grow,
better decisions I make today
is the real person you need to know,
a road that's better traveled-
is paved with smarter choices,
let's change the negative thinking
and follow our inner voices,
The way back is a challenge
to get back what we have lost,
our second chance to change a life
and reflect on all it cost,
I'm grateful for this opportunity-
in how I think, live and act,
changes in life-brings life changes
I've finally found my way back.
