Analysis of Poor man's last words
Kadot36 2001 (Nairobi)
THE POOR MAN LAST WORDS
When I'm sick and down bad
I don't want your money or your provision
When I was still walking and breathing freely
Seeking for your help, you shun me down
When I finally die
And my burial commence
I don't want you around my coffin
I don't want your eyes on me
You was there when my siblings
Reach out to you for help
You turn them down
And make me lay lifelessly
Inside a box of sorrow
You shall not speak or cry
when people pay their tributes to me
When I'm finally laid to rest
You shall not remember me
Or show me sympathy
or cry that you miss me
You was there when I was screaming for help
At your gate, but you turned me down
You shall show me no sympathy
