About Me and My Poetry

I began writing when I was ten years old. It is a great way for me to express my feelings.

I sit here taking all life has to bring.
My mind has split like me, myself and irene.
This world has made me schizo, hearing voices in my head.

I slay the dragon and lick the blood from the sword.
I take on the world and still, I'm back for more.
I wouldn't know peace, cause I aint never had it.

It's been five years since I saw your face.
A part of me, gone, never to be replaced.
I would have given anything for one more day.

I come here alone to think things over.
It's the perfect place for that.
It's where I got high and where I got sober.

My feelings are so mixed up, it's hard to sort them out. I've become so attatched to you, you are hard to live without. My heart beats so fast when you hold me close. I get a little delirious with every kiss. When you hold my hand, I never want to let go. Do you feel like this?
Love is a strange thing. It comes out of nowhere when you least expect it. Just when you think you are alone. Just when you're feeling neglected. Ask yourself, Is it finally over? Are the tears dried forever, at last? Or is this only the beginning of another piece of my past? I am so afraid. Love is such a risk. If I give you my heart and you break it, it may remain so forever. Do you feel like this?

The cool of the shallow blue water brushes across my barefeet, and I feel your warm hands on my hips. Flowers of all colors bloom at every angle, and the crisp spring air smells so sweet. But, perhaps, this is not Spring at all. This seems to be a place that knows no season. A place where the living never die, and the day goes on forever, without reason. I feel you lift me from the water onto the sand, and we walk together, with no destination in mind. We go through this strange world hand in hand, leaving all of our worries behind. I am in your dreams now, and you are in mine, and all of our thoughts are shared, and I dont care how far away we get, as long as you are there.

Sometimes, life can be so confusing, like loving or leaving, you're picking and choosing. The look of deceit in a pair of cold eyes, his back turned to you, like a thorn in your side. You feel his laughter, though, you do not see. He's cold to you, because he's been loving me.
When you see that faraway look in his eyes, when he chooses to sleep alone, everytime you say goodbye, he calls me on the phone. When you catch a glimpse of a tear in his eye, and he turns away quickly, hoping you don't see...When you see a smile come out of nowhere, then, you'll know he is thinking of me.
