About Me and My Poetry

I don't have much to say really. I'm 14, nearly 15 and I have alot to say, so I write it all in poetry.

You desperately cry out the same repeated word
When your life is in shambles, or when your happiness is blurred
Mommy! Mommy! Please, I need your advice
You’d tightly squeeze her, warm in my arms; you wouldn’t have to ask twice
You bitterly howl out the same repeated words
When your annoyed, inflamed, or want to desperately fly away far; like mocking birds
I hate you! I hate you! I’m going to run away!
But regret the words with passion, the very following day
Suddenly you despondently cry
By the sharp, quick, blink of an eye
The courts of the heavens send down an invisible blinding light
A bus for souls, carrying them into the sparkling sky, in the day or the dead of night
Leaving behind deep, invisible scars over your heart, which was once full of happiness and life
Leaving behind a torn infested river which flows down your frozen cheeks
You are standing on mountain peaks
Where those mocking birds may only dolefully sing the blues
Staring at your captivated memories, admiring the views
They taste so bittersweet, like luxurious chocolate
You enjoy the wonderful taste and the texture
But you know as you enjoy every last drop
More and more mournfulness will be added on top
You’re a lost puppy, just pleading for some loving
You’re an angry wrestler, just ready to do some shoving
You are standing on mountain peaks
It’s lonely, bloodcurdling and your there for more than a couple of weeks
It’s frightening with a hint of emptiness and hate
There’s no escape, no way out, there’s a padlock on the exit gate
And on those mountain peaks
Where those mocking birds may only dolefully sing the blues
You keep these memories with you forever, just like tattoos
You endeavour to become joyous, smile and mean it once again
But no matter what amazing thing may happen, you’ll always have in the back of your withering heart that same old pain
You’re like a balloon, one filled with air
One so delicate, you must handle with care
You blow rapidly through the blustery wind with no end
You’re not a helium balloon; you can’t go high in the sky, where you want to be sent
You’re not a mocking bird, their wings they cannot lend
To fly through the sky in the eye of the night
And sit on the white, majestic clouds is home, it’s where you feel right
You are standing on mountain peaks
Where the wind is cold and piercing, stinging your cheeks
Where those mocking birds may only dolefully sing the blues
It’s hard to get used to these new shoes
They are smaller, strapless and rub the back of your feet
As the days go by, your love still never dies
Without straps on your shoes, what’s holding your feet close?
Those straps were taken away the day my parents passed away
The day I was titled with the name “Orphan”
I think about it every day
I always thought my mommy would always be there to give me advice
Hug me and hold me tight
But she’s gone, all the way up there, in the white, majestic clouds
Where I would love to fly to, so very high
But I’m not a mocking bird, their wings they cannot lend
But I know deep inside I’ll see my parents again
Once my life, has come to an end.
