Untitled
A winding summer road led me to a path,
That, taken by the full moon's love,
Made me cry and laugh
The tears became a river, flowing wild and free
But where it reached the ocean
I could not seem to see
The laugh became an echo between a mountain range,
But I could not hold it in my hand
Nor cause the laugh to change
I sat to rest beneath a tree
But couldn't remember why,
Until I saw the starry night
Beneath the cloudy sky.

World of Me
In my wonderful world of me
I feast on raspberry moonbeams
And drink of the chocolate sea
My hair is blue, with eyes to match
The grass is red, the trees are black.
My marshmallow palace sits upon turtleshell clouds
Where I rule the stars and sing to the crowds
In the cellophane city that sits on the marsh
Awaits a music box princess with a voice cruel and harsh
I shun her though, for the psychedelic maiden in the
Blueberry house
With seven black cats and the strawberry mouse
We will ride on the wind of a thousand good-byes.
Seek and destroy the little white lies
That plaque and infect the City of Hope,
Hang the corrupted heroes on justified rope
We will carry forth Truth on a silver plate,
Served to the people to destroy the Hate
All this and more happen in my world of me
But somehow I locked the door and lost the key.

Twilight
I want to lay here in the
twilight shadows
And know the pleasure of having
no thoughts run through this
Troubled head.
I want to be carried away
by the music of the radio
To a world where my problems
don't exist and I can just
Pet my cat
I want to melt into
My twilight slumber
seeking nothing
Knowing less
I say goodnight as
Twilight falls
unsuccessful upon My hand.
