Yvonne seems to have taken such creative talents from her two loving talented parents, and eldest sister and brother. Yvonne also says, "Writing poetry helps me realize the fonder things of life that should never be taken for granted.

You'll See

You never realized how much I loved you
Yet you continuously tore my heart apart and treated me so cruel.
Through the years that we have spent together,
My heart was true.
But you didn't seem to care,
You've been playing me for a fool.
For four years, I've put up
With your abusiveness and your lies.
You were never around to hear my cries.
Though I was so blind that I could not see,
That the man I loved so much did not love me.
I felt my entire world was ending,
But yours still kept on spinning.
Some day you'll finally see and regret
All the rotten things you've ever said and done to me.

Without You

I haven't heard from you since
The day you walked out on me.
I don't understand how you could love someone
For almost 4 years and just set them free.
Yet, you left even without saying good-bye.
Up till this day, "I still find myself wondering why."
You can't imagine what I was going through.
But somehow I managed, without you.

That's All There Is To See

I used to think I couldn't live without your love.
But I've realized that the love I get
From my family is simply enough.
When you walked out on me, I thought I'd die.
But through all the pain and suffering..
My family and friends is what got me by.
It's funny how I actually built my world
Around you for so many years,
And believing you were the one for me.
But I sadly mistook you for a man,
And that's all there is to see.
