Virginia wrote a few poems when she was in High School. After her six children grew up and she became quite involved with St. Noel Catholic Church did she begin to write many inspirational poems. A few were published in the magazine, "Sharing", by the International Order of St. Luke. Other publications are; American Poetry Anthology 1986; Golden Poet Award 1991 by the World of Poetry plus many Merit Certificate Awards. Lifetime member in the International Society for Poets. Published in Best Poems of 1995 by the National Library of Poetry. Her children and grand children are the inspiration for many of her poems. The favorite one she encloses in a card to some friend in need is; "I thank thee". Writing poetry helps me feel spiritually the beautiful Universe God created and his love through other people. She loves to practice Calligraphy, play golf and work in her garden. |
Love ~Love is beyond all measure of time ~ To touch the tallest cloud in the sky, To climb the highest mountain peak, To swim across the widest blue ocean, To run the longest mile on Earth, To give my searing heart so unconditionally, All in one word to say, "I love you" ~ | I Thank TheeI thank thee Father, for the way thy hand has guided me today. I woke at morning dawn afraid, to face my problems so I prayed. And one by one each need was met, for thou hast never failed me yet. Dear God, henceforth my prayer shall be for strong abiding faith in thee. Amen ~ | My Snow White AngelRushing to and fro in your lifetime Stop; listen carefully, Try and "feel" your guardian Angel watching over you; protecting you from danger or harm and feel safe and warm with love Know that you are God's child and He loves you beyond all measure of time, for time is but a fleeting speck in your eye Peace, love and joy, always and forever |
