Virginia Ellington

Cleveland, Ohio, USA

I came from a large family. There were six girls and six boys. My mother and my father love to play the piano and we would sit around and sing. My mother was a wonderful mother. We like to go fishing. I had a wonderful husband, I could do no wrong in his eyesight. He always wore a smile. He was my Forest Gump and I was his Jenny. We were together for fifty five and a half years before he passed away, I still miss him.

I Love You Mom

I can't begin to show you
The love for you in my heart
You've been my mother, my friend, and my pal
Right from the very start
You gave me strength when I needed it
And hope and courage too
You sacrificed so much for me
Like only a mother would do
I know in my heart I haven't
Always measured up to par.
But I love you with all my heart and soul
For the wonderful mother you are

Such A Wonderful Word

Inspiration is a word called mother
Because she's always there
To pick you up when you fall down
And see to your every care
A mother is a precious gem
On whom you can rely
To stand by you when you're in need
Her love will never die
She seems to sense when you are ill
Or if you just need a friend
To comfort you when you feel blue
She's right there till the end

Miss You

I miss you so much Buster
More and more each day
Life just doesn't seem the same
Since you went away
I hear you call my name
But you stay out of view
I'm sorry that you had to go
Because I needed you
I needed you to talk to me
When I was feeling low
Got no one to listen to
Got nowhere to go
I'm so depressed, can't concentrate
Life's not what it seems
It's just a great big mess
Of unhappiness and broken dreams
