Twyla comes from a long line of ministers, teachers and poets. She is all three and a musician as well. She has played drums, piano and organ. She still plays the organ and composes songs. At 17, she graduated with honors and a teachers certificate. She has been writing poetry since she was quite young, as had her father, and a great aunt who published in 1860. Some of Twyla's poems have been published in the Nebraska Omaha Daily News, and a community cookbook and by the National Library of Poetry. She is spending her life sharing metaphysical truths freely with others. |
