Tracy has been writing poetry for 15 years. She is a photographer, computer technician, and an independent representative with Excel Telecommunications (one of the fastest growing corporations in the United States). Tracy feels that her poetry is just one avenue of fulfilling the great commission found in Mark 16:15 - GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH AND PUBLISH OPENLY THE GOOD NEWS (THE GOSPEL) TO EVERY CREATURE [TO THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE]. She says that most of her poems start out as prayers and Tracy believes that her poetry is Holy Spirit Inspired. Her prayer is that God uses her poetry to touch people's lives, give them encouragement, and hope. |
Hallelujah, Hip-Hip-Hooray, and Yahoo!I shout Hallelujah, I give a cheer of Hip-Hip-Hooray, and give one loud Yahoo.I know beyond a shadow of doubt where I'm going cause God has been giving me direction and Lord, I can hear only You! You said that if I took a step out of faith that You would be there. So I've taken that step of faith and there You are! You've opened doors for me that has been marvelous, and I know that if I continue following where You lead, I'll go far. Lord, You're full of grace and mercy. You love us more than we could ever imagine, comprehend, or even know. You've given me hope and compassion and I pray when people see me that my love for You will show. Lord, it's because You came into my life that I'm joyous and happy, You've given me a second chance, a purpose, You've turned my life around and it will never be the same. I will sing, dance, and shout! I give You all the glory and honor and Lord, I will forever praise Your Holy Name. Lord, I give You three choruses of Hallelujah, two cheers of Hip-Hip-Hooray, and one loud Yahoo! I also give my life wholly and completely and wherever You lead, whatever You say, that I will do! |
I Delight To Do Your Will O'LordI delight to do Your will O'Lord, I come seeking with a pure heart, asking what would You have me do?I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I have tasted and seen that Your word is good and true. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, Your glory I behold in every sight and every sound. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I feel Your love surrounds me each time I turn around. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I know Christianity isn't a game. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I desire to praise and magnify Your Name. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, Your word is true, Your love complete, and Your power is divine. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I want to introduce You to every friend of mine! I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I will act on Your word, seek Your wisdom, plant seeds and sow. I delight to do Your will O'Lord, I accept Your love, believe in Your power, and wherever You lead, there I will go. Someone SpecialI'm someone special in Your eyes. You're my companion and my best friend.You'll never leave me alone or stop loving me. You're my true love till the very end. You're full of grace and mercy, Your compassion eases a troubled mind. I don't have to change to be accepted by You. You're forgiving, trustworthy, and oh so kind. You've given me strength and courage and have taken away all my fear. You pick me up when I fall down and You wipe away each tear. Your glory is revealed in each sight I behold. You wrote the "Book of Love" Lord, and it's the GREATEST story ever told! |
