Tina has been a single mother of two boys; Jason, 19, and Brad, 16, since 1985 when they moved from the Detroit area to California. She is currently working in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the technical field and has started her own business in homemade and resale jewelry and bath products. Her first poem, "My Little One," was inspired by her 2nd, then infant son, Brad. She enjoys all of the arts, and says "Dreams do not come easy, but come to those who believe."

My Little One

I hold you tight, my little one
As you rock off to sleep,
And dream of things yet still unknown,
But yours alone to keep

A peaceful place not far away,
Down deep inside your soul
Oh take me there my little one
For you I want to know!

Cosmic Tapestry

Shall I live but one life
One main purpose encompassing all,
Or shall I live many lives
Mostly short, colorful, and bittersweet
Until they all blend into one cosmic tapestry

Bound by one single thread
The thread of one's own journey
surrounded by other journey's that somehow meet
Either go their separate ways
Or become part of another

As two colors become one
Until we lose part of ourselves,
And find more of ourselves
Until we are no longer that single thread
But find out we are that tapestry indeed

Tranquility

Come ride with me on a cool gentle breeze
In the beckoning moonlight
While mortals are asleep
And spirits roam free
Together we will soar the vast unknown
Covered by a blanket of tranquility

I Am

I travel the vast complexity of the human mind
Live and breathe in man's heart and soul
I am the ancient one
Water, Fire, Earth and Air

I am the mountain, I am the wind
I am the ocean, I am the flame
As long as man still searches for himself
I am alive

I am change, I am transition
I am the past, I am the present
I am the future, I am one with all that is
I am

Natural Love

Ocean breezes washing away our daily stresses
Golden sunlight beaming down, softly it caresses
Your love it is so natural
Indeed it so refreshes
My soul, my heart, my mind, it does
My life it surely blesses
