Things seem impossible, when you limit your expectations. Expect anything, and nothing is impossible."

Life's Battle

On this field of fires burning;
Holes so deep with cannon blasts,
O' how my stomach is now turning,
As I charge into the mass.

With my head hung low and feet proceeding,
Toward my foe I go now leading.
On the ground my peers are bleeding,
Tears are seeping, bullets pass.

The Earth is the battlefield,
The war is existence.
My mind is my shield
As I rise from the trenches.

Temptation

Damn these eyes of cursed vision.
Pluck them from their resting place.
Take thy blade with quick decision.
Gouge them out with ready haste.

Let thy ears by swift removed,
Let them hear of no more hatred,
Let no sound in them intrude,
From thyself let them be taken.

For I have seen the devil's scheme,
And heard him clearly speak to me.
He wishes me to do his deeds,
Temptation overtaking.
