Tim has been writing for the last ten years or so. He is a social worker who works with people of all ages. He is an active member in the church. Tim has been a contributor to various magazines, a writer of a local newspaper's editorials, and a published poet by The National Library of Poetry. He is the author of the Changing Kid, which offers legal advice for state agencies, information for educators, and guidelines for child-care agencies. Writing has always been a hobby, and now it has become one tool to a long career. Poetry has brought out the real artist in him.

The "Girl" and Partner

Do we really know who she is?
Some say "I've been married many years."
Looks are for both the Mrs. and Miss.
The "girl", it seems, has many fears.

The guy has to comfort some.
Both the "girl" and guy give in.
Its a two way street that rarely lasts.
Those who do stick together actually win.

Guys and girls can we actually work at a marriage?
It takes commitment, sacrifice, and love.
Sometimes, we believe it's age.
Other times it's more from above.

A marriage or a partnership lasts for a while.
We need to work at both to win.
Both a marriage and a partnership has style.
When we fail we sin.

Sin is the ultimate nightmare.
We have to proceed like saints.
One must be friendly and fair.
Finally, you have to be the artist who paints.

The Bible

Years have passed since the writing of the old and new testament.
It consists of both stories and parables.
One must often wonder whether they are fluent
With the biblical language that is both fact and fables.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all contributed as writers.
Their parables reveal God's messages to us.
"The last will be first,...the first will be last", says fighters
No one will always win or lose which is a plus.

The ten commandments, the gospels, and the sacraments
Reveal the laws, how we should live, and our Christian rite.
Baptism symbolizes one of God's elements.
The Eucharist reveals the food we chew or bite.

"The two shall be one flesh" is what sacrament?
Marriage and anointing of the sick are always available
To those who desire to be married or cured permanent.
The sacraments are always on the table.

We need the Bible characters for guidance.
Noah and his son, for instance, built his boat after a warning.
This proceeded a flood which was part of God's-Noah's alliance.
The flood, of course, led to the mourning.

The Coach

The person who instills discipline and work is felt.
He/she is one who knows his/her players.
Discipline is not instilled with the belt.
Rather it is built by practice and errors.

It is not always easy to know how to win.
When things get to be tricky and unpredictable,
The coach turns to new ideas and new men.
Listening is a skill which makes things stable.

We can never be sure how to act.
The game is normally won through team play.
The coach has to be flexible with tact.
He/she must be neutral, fair, and have a say.

The coach knows when to take a loss.
He/she knows the players and needs their support.
The trick with coaching is to teach by carrying the cross.
A coach like the teacher must carry a burden in the sport.

Sometimes a good coach gets angry.
Other times the coach is warm and approachable.
The team has to know what they could see.
Many times the outcome is not negotiable.
