My name is Tammy Flanigan. I have written poetry for as far back as I can remember. I am a member in The International Poetry Hall of Fame and a member of the International Society of Poetry. I have 4 Editor’s Choice Awards for outstanding Achievement in Poetry. I have 8 different poems published in 8 different anthologies, and all of my poems are written from my heart. They all have a special meaning to me. The poem "Their Special Love" was written for my mom and dad for their 34 years they spent together through good and bad times in the life that they have shared. The poem "In His Mind" was written about my brother and all the heartache he suffered and all he had went through. The poem "A Daughters Love" is a poem I wrote after my mom passed away. I was hurting so much and I still am. She meant everything to me. I want to share my poems with other people and I want other people to like my poems as much as I do. I hope you'll like my poems.

IN HIS MIND

In his mind, He knows
she's not the one for
Him, but his Heart is
Haunted by the memories
of the love they shared.
The time they spent
together. Now His mind
and heart are struggling to find
the right answer of what Love is.

THEIR SPECIAL LOVE

Their love is like a Sea,
A sea of Eternity. The look
in their eyes shows. The
Special Love God has joined
together and in their Hearts.
They know that for Eternity
there is no end. And only when they
are parted by Death their
love will still live for
Eternity.

A DAUGHTER'S LOVE

No more Hugs. No more
Love. No more a Mother
does. My mother has
gone away but I know
I will see her again
in Heaven someday.
My Heart is broken
and I am blue.
I love you mom and
God does too.
