I was born 17 May 1963 in Kumsan, South Korea. I am married to a wife, Eun Hee Kim park and have a lovely son, Han Sung Park, five years old. I am a lecturer at HanKook University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, teaching the subjects of International Political Economy, International Relations Theory, Policy Theory, and North Korean Politics. I did my Ph.D in Politics at the Univ. of Hull, UK. I used to write many poems with various kinds of imagination since I was a little boy in the countryside, from when I tried to put the natural flow of mind and the stream of emotional consciousness reflected in the natural phenomenon's. Even though I am a political scientist, I will continue to develop my poetic talent by writing many poems on the relationship between nature and human being. |
By The Name of Hope and LoveMessages of solitude overwhelms me from winter treesSometimes by dreams, sometimes by despair and uncertainty I continue to travel the road of solitude and dream As has been the turbulent history of mankind Messages of happiness captures me from the dawning Sometimes by expectation, sometimes by stark reality I continue a long march of life by the name of solitude As has been the life of a Saint Messages of challenges awakens me from turbulent sea waves Sometimes by courage, sometimes by fear I continue the long journey of challenges by the name of hope As has been the dream of an ambitious boy Messages of hope comes from my deep heart Sometimes by dream, sometimes by energy and spirit I continue to walk in the darkness by the name of love As has been the life of Jesus Christ |
