Tabitha Davidson

Duluth, Georgia

Tabitha is currently in fourth grade at Chattahoochee Elementry School. She is very interested in space, and hopes to one day become an astronaut. In the meantime she enjoys reading books and writing poetry! Tabitha also enjoys twirling baton, and marched in the Peach Bowl Parade with the G.Y.O.P. Her poetry has been published by The National Library of Poetry! Tabitha says, "Writing poetry helps me to focus on a problem long enough to come up with a solution."

Just Open Your Eyes And See

When I open my eyes, I see a sad
little girl standing before me. I feel
like I want to cry...Because I feel
like I have so much love, and she has
nothing before her. She stands alone, sad
scared and afraid. Though she is loud,
and boastful in class, I see behind her
pain. All she needs is someone to put
their arms around her and tell her the
goodness that is inside of her!

I just want her to know, I am
very much willing to be her friend!
