Montreal, Quebec, Canada

I was born in Montreal, Canada, daughter of Victor and Halina Konstantinov. Graduated from Rosemount High School and Dawson College in Office Systems Technology. I am currently working at Concordia University as a Records Assistant in the Office of the Registrar. The National Library of Poetry has published a few of my poems, and from where I received an "Editor's Choice Award" for 1996 and 1997. Also, I am a Distinguished Member of the International Society of Poets. After writing poetry for several years, I feel it has made me more conscious of everything I value the most in my life. I am presently writing a fiction novel with guidance from a writing school.

A Shining Star

On a clear night the sky is filled with shining stars,
When two Lovers look up,
They can see a light,
A shining star taken out of the sky,
As a token of their love for each other.

A miracle at first sight,
Small and innocent,
Spanking new yet familiar,
A need to touch and hold,
Slipping in track with time.

A joy that fills a void,
So full of life,
A treasured commitment to uphold,
Brings a closeness,
Warms the soul.

A shining star having the same bloodline,
To be named and imprinted in the mind,
Like a shooting star,
That streaks across the sky,
Hope for the future, and beyond.

My Cup Of Joy

No label I could trace you to,
Not an import or as a reserve,
My cup of joy,
You are unique.

Your love is a liquid that flows through me,
Continuous without ending,
A quench unsatisfied,
Always fresh and changing.

Never demanding only welcoming,
A warmth that lingers on,
My cup of joy,
You can do me no wrong.

With you my cup is always full,
Regardless of your strength and size,
It is the constant joy you bring to me,
Even words fail to describe.

Your Eyes

Your eyes are silently calling me,
Into their sparkling depths of blue,
Mesmerizing and calm,
My love grows stronger each minute for you.

By day and night your eyes shine bright,
Drawing me near,
I sail down your warm current of love,
Knowing I have nothing to fear.

At night I watch you sleep,
Jealous of the dreams you keep,
I wait for morning to look into your eyes,
And savour the love we feel deep inside.
