Surely Gold

Julian, California, USA

Surely Gold was born on August 17, 1979. She is the second of three children, her sister, Truly Silver, being seven years older, and her brother, Justin Copper, being two years younger. Her parents, Peter and Bobbi, have been very supportive of her poetry since she began writing when she was nine. Surely has always been a very emotional person. Her writing allows her to express the depth of her thoughts, and to share the truth of her beliefs with others. "I believe in, and hold sacred the energies of the Earth and the energies within myself."

Untitled

So much
Angled in a way so as to disguise
And yet it lingers on minds as a mystery
Truths to be said, and lips to gently kiss
If only stars were truly magic,
Then dreams would find their way
So heavy
Tightly engulfing the body of love
Sending out waves of desire,
With tides of fruitful lust
Blues so bright in the eyes of the sky
Where birds fly away home
A dangerous meaning when one has found truth
To be the boldest lie in ones life
While the flower sits, beautiful and vibrant radiating life,
The bee buzzes around stopping only occasionally for some sweetnes.
Within a heart of gold lies everlasting Love.
Stained and tarnished maybe,
But still gold as precious as any.

Lesson

Fantasy forests, full of love
Trees talk, tongues to kiss
Swollen, singing, streams love laughter
Animals are, alive have dreams
Beautiful, bold, butterflies make love
GReen grass, grows to feed
Love, live, learn from me.

Untitled

Kiss the lips of the moon my child,
Lips so sweet you'll cry.
Embrace her gift of love my child,
A gift that never lies.
Sing to her your song my child,
A song of beauty, or of pain.
Dance within her light my child,
Dance to celebrate your faith.
Find peace within your soul my child,
Peace of heart and mind.
Within the sacred Earth my child,
The Goddess you will find.

The Love Of A Rose

The gift of perfect beauty,
Lies within her fragile hands.
Her scarlet face of velvet weeps,
When moonlight floods the land.
A loving hand and careful touch,
May bring her close to you.
And as you kiss her soft red lips,
Breathe in her sweet perfume.
