I started writing poems in the year of 1986. I work for Honeywell Inc. for 34 years, retired in 1995. I have send in a few poems to different Poetry contests to see if I have any talent at all. You people at the National Library of Poetry gave me a chance to show my talent of writing, thank you.I have received three awards from Honeywell, and one from National Library of Poetry in 1996.

If

If we could see tomorrow
We wouldn't be afraid today.
If we could be with friends
We wouldn't be lonely
If we could see each other for what they are
We wouldn't need to be identical to them.
If we could show more of ourself, then they'll see
We wouldn't be feared by others.
If we open our heart and soul
We could achieve our goals.
If we could get the training
We could go forward in life.
If!If!
