Sister Mary Agna Barth, O.P. a Sinsinawa Wisconsin Dominican Sister has been a teacher since 1931 in various Diocesan Schools throughout the United States. Sister taught for many years in grades three through eighth. She taught English in Visitation High School in the early seventies. In 1973 she was Coordinator for the Religious Education Program at Redondo Beach, California. Over seven-hundred students were involved in this program. Besides supervising the program she did Teacher Training for the seventy-teachers teaching in the program. After working for six years at St. James, Sister Mary Agna returned to the mid-west. In Rockford, Illinois, she became the Religious Education Coordinator for nineteen parishes in the Rockford Diocese. It was while working here that she attended a Chicago Diocesan Education meeting and attended a session given by Father Matthew Fox, O.P. After hearing him she knew she had to learn more about Creation Spirituality. In Oakland, CA, a summer seminar was being given by Father Fox. At this time she attended a workshop on Creative Writing given by Dr. Gill. Since then besides continuing in Religious Education work she began work in earnest on Creative Writing. Fox's illuminations of Hildegard's work really interested her and she began putting the ideas into Poetry form. |

When brought before Pilate,
