The Challenged Conquistadors, Inc. Abstract
Many unsophisticated people have thoughtlessly labelled
challenged individuals as both incompetent and unworthy of dignity/respect
by using terms, i.e., crippled, retarded, invalid, disabled, handicapped,
sabotaged, afflicted, and disadvantaged. A main reason for this unacquainted
situation is miseducated individuals. The fact is evident, i.e., Shakespeare
in Hamlet "Words, words, words":. Words, in fact, are the reasons
we have competencies and destruction. Language is very critical in the
development of all individuals, i.e., infants, etc. This stage can start
as early as the seventh & eighth month of development. This could lead
one to believe that we enjoy & take part in destructive & demoralizing
the human element. Language will be eternalized, while perpetually portraying
those erroneous confirmation, if continued!!! Language crosses very aspect
of life! This is not a attractive confession, but as long as individuals
are isolated or confined to controlled situations by labels, we may never
realize the fullest capabilities that many possess. some benefit of reverence
and distinction are: labels will only limit our effectiveness to become
greater assets; employers openly and reassuringly employ more individuals
with challenges; a reduction of individuals on social programs; increased
minds determined of positive productivity vs. negative; decreasing homeless
rates; ability to match unemployed with adequate employer; reduce social
injustices by communities acceptance of those challenged as economic partners;
& activate, educate, motivate, and stimulate employers to utilize our
talents since the taxpayer put us back together, in many cases, to benefit
our society! To conclude, my strategy is unique and revolutionary because
I believe all individuals are equal and competent! This educational improvement
is required if we are to move on toward progress vs. stagnation and destruction!
Additional positive activities are as follows: increased problem solving
capabilities (a problem is a confused solution), constructive leadership
and guidance, and an optimistic perception of our world which has many
opportunities for winners. Where are the winners located? Every human is
a winner, if we really desire to obtain the best!
A point to ponder; As we humans look around us at our empires of knowledge
and competence, we are all oblivious by the systematic degeneration of
ourselves! How can we explanation or what can our efforts result in that
will purposefully better our condition? I can only work at my pace because
no others are concerned, other than lip service, which fills no need, unless
the individual is soon to die! Will we involve before or after the final
fate of our fathers?
