Sharon Lee Kelley taught physical education for 34 years and has recently retired. She believes in the preservation of our natural environment, teaching and learning throughout life, along with the importance of humor, sport, play and wellness in addition to appreciating nature. She enjoys swimming, volleyball, mountain climbing, canoeing and kayaking. Sharon dedicates her poetry to her parents, Lee and Vera Kelley, to Barbara Jensen, Mildred Barnes, Bonnie Bettinger, Lauren Shuman, Abbey Leonard and to her Godchild, Christopher Lee Kelley. She'd like to thank the many students, friends, relative and colleagues who inspire her in her writing. |
