Introspection

Solace - gratitude - relief
Reprieve to send its muted tone
Speaking - seeking - yearning
Guilty remorse
Time to go - but wait
Hold fast. the bleating
of weakness but alas
To answer with truth would
tear off the mask
Naked - cold - truth!
Would we last?

Discernment

Tender is the night
That holds us in its sway
Blue dust and translucent light
To moonlight us on our way.
The brush of the cool breeze
With kisses on our cheek.
Friendly warmth of earth to tease -
Steaming with its frost.

I Cry

Wherefore, Oh God the Punishment
That Metes the way
Of him who transgresses sent
By tortured wings that say
Confess on perishment
Awaits, abates, and destroys
The soul, the mind, the will that may
To Dust return, but not Salvation way
And no glory no peace no sanctity.
