Sandy Heart

I am a woman, divorced, and an educator with specific interests in sociology, philosophy, English, and education. I have a number of hobbies one of which is writing. I write about matters of the heart: pain and happiness - in love. As a realistic romanticist, I see many unhappy people, together, who are "supposed" to be in love; and, I see many happy people "in love" for they are with the "right" person - their soul mate, if you will. I do believe if one is unhappy in love, they have the "wrong partner" and it is imperative they be alone until they have the "right person". We, somehow, KNOW when that is - Should this happen, there would be happiness in the world. There would be less pain, less chaos, less fighting, less greed, jealousies, etc. in the world, I believe from all perspectives - from households to wars between countries. In essence, there would be a better world in which to live for it begins with "this" personal aspect (the heart) with the individual, for if one is truly happy in love, or are alone and happy (this is possible), there would be no negativity toward others. It is these thoughts that I share with the world in both poetic and musical - lyric formats, and hope they will be given serious consideration while making a great impact, appreciated, and loved by all - forever. This subject matter has been with us since the beginning of all time. I am, simply, writing on the subject from a modern-day perspective - making it universal, easy-to-read, up-to-date, and speak to the heart - profoundly. I believe we are meant to be happy!

It's A Wonderful Thing, A Love Thing

We look at each other softly and intensely
Ending our stares only because of blinking

It's a love thing
It's a wonderful thing

Aroma - the aroma of love is in the air
Ridging our entire being - surrounding us
Encompassing us in a cloud of love

It's a love thing
It's a love thing
It's a wonderful thing

Into our being - we know we can touch the sky
We share our thoughts - ideas - plans
Never without thought of each other
We always enjoy each other's company

It's a love thing
It's a love thing
It's a love thing
It's a wonderful thing
A love thing

Living to be together
Over coffee or tea - we talk
Viewing life together - It's a love thing
Entering the aroma of love

It's a love thing
It's a wonderful thing

WOW!

We are in love!

Interconnected Hearts

Our hearts are connected to the hearts of
others.
Those hearts are connected to the hearts of
others.
Other's hearts are connected to still others.
Where does it end?
When does it end?
How?
Why?

We are all a part of emotionally connected
relationships
in
this
world
because of
THE OTHERS!

Love's Mind, Love's Heart

I loved you with my mind - at first.
You loved me with your mind until you felt
you'd lost.
I loved you with my heart as time dictated.
You continued to love me with your mind
as it was to your advantage - your thought.

I love you, still, with my heart - but,
mind has entered as I now realize all was
a game from the start.

You - now you love me with your heart - all
too late - as all the pain caused from the
start - in your mind, - you thought - was
smart.

Now - you realize and want to start again -
too late

As love's mind, love's heart has, at last,
grown too far.

apart.

Good-bye!
