Embracing The Light

Darkness can be the opaque blackened sky.
Or the way we feel when we have told many lies.
Allowing the darkness to overtake our dreams.
We can't obtain the light found within our souls, it seems.
Dying in darkness we can lose our existence.
Embracing the light may increase our resistance.
The darkness may be the evil within.
The light of the world may guide us from sin.

Communication

Deep within the darkness a flicker of a light.
Imagination, brings forth a different form of insight.
Deep within your thoughts a glimmer of hope.
Someone to understand you, somehow to really cope.
Dreams that seem unimportant at that scary time.
Words not spoken distinctively only left in rhymes.
How are we to know each other if we do not communicate in sound?
Speaking, and Listening to one another can turn your life around.

A Sensuous Love

Walking in the shadows of her dreams captivating
her inner soul,
slipping into her unconscious thoughts, he slithers
like a mole.
Riveting emotions sealed within her chest, with
his invisible touch a Spirit's hand.
While diamond eyes, flash like tiny crystals
found on blistering specks of sand.
Lips moist, luscious, burning with love's desire,
a passionate flame aglow.
Leading her towards his flexed arms, and forbidden
love unknown.
Vibrating hearts beat, joined with love's eternal
embrace.
Combined in one pulsating spark, which shines,
reflected on blushing face.
A Sensuous love pranced in dreamy state, a
silhouette cast in lucid mind awaits.
Through sleeping eyes, her desire is only him,
that phantom lover, becomes her soulmate.

Forgotten Love

Hateful words spun vengefully, an intricate design
of false hope.
Entwined in lost desire, left for us to cope.
We used to be best friends, like earth signs
eternally bound.
Our love became a romantic hymn of a majestic
mythical sound.
You the water that nourished me, and I the land
that kept your form.
Deep within my crusted heart, your liquid was
my core.
The music that our love made, was like celestrial
harps in tune.
Adding symmentry to our lives, like Summer days
in June.
Now those strings that chimed sweet tones,
have stretched beyond repair.
Like Weeping Willows that feel winter's icy
Kiss, of frost within the air.
The cold way that we treat ourselves, has left
only bitter regrets.
Revengeful, spiteful, memories...that is not
the way we met!
No longer do we have strong lines, of trust to
attach the delicate strains.
Just a potrait of forgotten love that holds two
wedding bands.
