Goodbye

I'm at the park
It's cold and dark
As I look at the stars
I wonder where you are
Everything is going in slow motion
There's a roar, like the ocean
Deep, sharp, never ending pain
Tear drops fall like rain
Bright colors of red and white
Flashes of light
Flutting of wings
Softly they sing
I will miss you
Along with the morning dew
I'm at the park
It's no longer cold nor dark

What Would I Give

As I lie here watching you sleep
I know I have gotten in too deep
Broken all of your rules
Feeling like a fool
She made you cry
Not I
She walked away
I'm begging you to stay
I can see the hurt in his eyes
Can't he see them in mine
I was hoping in time
He would realize
What would I give
Everything
