The Flower and Feather

It was in the valley of clover
so pretty and green
That the earth gave birth to
a beautiful flower and she
named it Spring.
While high above the valley
soared an eagle and from
his mighty wing flew a
feather that gently fell from
above that landed in the
heart of that beautiful flower
and the two fell in Love.
Though writer came cold and
long Love between these
two grew strong as the snow
fell day by day around the
flower and the feather it
just simply melted away.
It was a flame of Love that
glowed so bright it was seen
from the mountains high
that lined the land and
touched the sky.

Wonder of Spring

Spring is full of many wondrous things
Beautiful flowers red, yellow,
blue, purple, and green.
As pollen from their fresh
blooms fills the air tickling
our noses.
We sit beholding violets and
watching bees sip sweet
nectar from the roses.
As our chapter of nature closes
another bursts open with a
song from birds singing above
their treetop throngs.
Yes divine love is
romantically displayed
in Spring as new life
shoots forth from the
earth with a heavenly gleam.
