Uniqueness of our times

How our times differ from others
what is unique in our passage;
why our noble pull y seize stashies
must be denied or -- suffragized?

We are polluted like our mothers
but in addition to their frights
we lost innocence, modesty, honor
we are the liars without a value
we broke semantics, oaths and
pride; like Chelsea's father
we must deny for global woes
industrialized bring-in the break
down much-much faster than
our health care can expedite

The modish experts are surprised
that China's rate of suicide claims
lion share -- without depression!

To me this has pulled by a rabbit
reflects improvement of middle
class: ol' Chou En-lai opened
the mart without transition as
Gorby opened his perestroika

Their free for all rush has
crushed old systems; pagoda
and cerkiev killed their rites

US 2000

Introduction

If time is money and friendship
cost, how my charity is to shelter
or -- host and roast?

Investor is a grower at heart
whereas hyena gambling on margin
premature profit ejector
and selling short -- reap only
downward; a simoniac bargee
will only hecotr my poetic pride

Republican hopefuls 2000

A fiscal conservative of social
conscience is a moderate
by definition -- hooded Robin;
colling, snoweing or bething
the political fiction, you only
hatch a dole -- of bobbing

Democratic helpfuls 2000

Over the hill, a load of bills
gab hopeful Omar and farthing
Dick: if we could only trick
one more time, the elephant
excrement of master flint
should chime for ever
the boxing nickels and goric
--dimes

Impeachment dilemma

Seeing his lies you wonder;
can we impeach a guy
who doesn't know the wrong
from right;
Who seem unable to recognize
that Oval Office isn't his stall;
Who denies that breaking
supreme vows does merit
his ouster and his staff motto:
Mow - mow!

Who is he to dare
the State of Union
on a day of his trial?

Going down  he drowns
the Republic's remaining pride:
William Jefferson Clinton
the incompetent scholar
-- unable to resign...
