Inner Strength

Feel the release in the air o' bird
Let not your wings be timid
And yield not to coziness of your nest
Nor to the sleep filled in your eyes

Deep inside you still lurks a hope
To cross the ocean of desires
To reach the shores of eternity
Though the sky is dark fold not your wings

Fear not for infinite strength lies
within you
I know the night is just about over
Fly on and on and let your wings be gilded
By the first speck of light.

New Day

The night has just ended
Bringing in a fresh new day
The glory of silent beautiful morn
Brings hope in our hearts
Let the pollution of past
Be cleansed by its gentle rays

Take out your flute today
Playing new melodies
Let the music flow effortlessly
Devoid of the burden of right and wrong
Let the joy of the day
Be carried in your songs

Our lives are not one long journey
And songs not and endless one
Let the darkness of all doubts disappear
In the light of the ringing sun
Let the lotus of your heart bloom
Gladdening the heart of your beloved

Unexpressed Love

I thought I would write
Loves words in their beautiful colors
But that lies deep in my heart
And my tears are pale
Would you be able to read
The verses that are colorless?

I thought I would sing
Love songs in their own tune
But that plays in my heart
And my eyes are silent
Would you know then
If there is no tune?

I thought I would reveal my love
In a gentle embrace
But shyness hides my longing
And my feelings remain inside
Would you be able to peak through my eyes
To see the priceless gift of love I hold?
