Eagle For Peace

I watched an eagle fly
high up in the sky.
Why must he fly so high,
I asked myself why?

He flies so gracefully,
with each stroke of wing.
As I watch him glide,
my heart simply sings.

With power and confidence,
he moves through the air.
Always displaying wisdom,
and does it with a flair.

His power, strength and freedom,
represents our great land.
This majestic bird, a symbol,
to live in peace, as a band.

The eagle and I extend peace,
to all the world.
With love in our hearts,
for all to understand.

God's Love

When rain falls from heaven,
And flowers bloom in your yard,
While birds sing from tree limbs,
As you feel the warmth of the sun,
And it brings to you much joy,
Then you have found the meaning of love,
That god has put here for you to enjoy.

God's Love

When rain falls
from heaven,
and flowers bloom
in your yard.
While birds sing
from the tree limbs,
as you feel the
warmth of the sun.
And it brings
to you much joy,
you have found
the meaning of love,
that God put here
for you to enjoy.

Father Time

There comes a time in a man's life
when age creeps up to make him old.
The many years behind him now
his pace lessons, no longer bold.

He thinks back to those many years
reliving happy times, some were sad.
Proud of his accomplishments performed
yet to become old makes him mad.

So many things he meant to do
never finding time to attempt or try.
Working hard while raising family
joy of laughing sometimes to cry.

He was Dad, then later grandfather,
great grandfather came with time.
Life moved quickly through the years
now it's gone with only to remind.

This is life as it was meant to be
a boy grows up to be a man.
A home with family through the years
though age comes, life was grand.
